Cub Scouts
Last night was my last pack meeting for being the assistant cub master in our ward. I'm gonna miss the boys and it was kinda sad. I'm still super excited to move but it was a ton of fun and I learned so much. Actually when I went into it I didn't know a thing! We got to go on field trips, have weekly activities, day camp, and so much more! I feel so blessed to have had this calling and to learn so much about something I had no idea about. I am also going to miss my cub master Lisa. She and also Elizabeth when she was the cub master where such good teachers for me and I learned so much from them. And they always made it tons of fun and care so much about the boys.
Only 1 more full week of school, two days the week after that, two days of finals, and then I move! I'm so not ready. The house is no where being ready to be packed out by the movers, I have so much to clean still, and I also have to study! AH! Overwhelmed feeling set in the day after thanksgiving, but, it always works out! I'm just thankful I don't have to pack everything up myself. I just feel so ready for a vacation, although it will be a super long one, which is always fun! I can't wait to see friends and family.

Marine Corp Ball Weekend
This past weekend on the 17th of Novemer we celebrated the USMarine Corp Birthday at the Sheraton in Atlantic Beach. We had a lot of fun eating good yummy steak and dancing and a really good guest speaker. This picture right here is of us sitting at our table before the ceremony started. Everyone was completely obliterated with alcohol. It was really sad because 8 oz of soda with lots and lots of ice was $3.75 but beer was free. I was upset about that but only that really. We just drank water. It was free which was extra good.
We stayed at the Sheraton that night, which was suppose to be tons of fun, but I had been battling the flu for a day by then. After we had danced for a little bit we went upstairs and changed and went to the grocery store around the corner for some OJ. Thankfully, it was warm enough for us to sleep with the balacony open in our room so we could listen to the ocean as we slept and we were able to wake up to the ocean. It was awesome!
This is a view from one of our two balaconys. By morning I was feeling better and enjoyed looking outside and it wasn't as windy.
Before we went to the ball we went to Fort Knolls Aquarium which was way cool. We were able to even go on a nature walk. We petted stingray fish and horseshoe crabs. We saw a shipwreck which is also the largest aquarium in NC which had sharks, way cool fishes, and lots of other things. Overall, I felt like I learned a lot and even used what I learned to help me with my biology homework that was due on Monday. This next picture is of walking into the aquarium which is a waterfall. It was pretty cool.
Overall, the weekend was a lot of fun and I had taken enough cold medicine to make it tons of fun, until it was bedtime. When we get our professional pictures back from the ball, I will post a much better picture of us.

Long Weekend
This past weekend was a long weekend because I didn't have school on Monday! It was a very joyous occasion not to be up at 5:15am to take David to work! This weekend we started the cleaning process in the house for the move. Which in other words means the house is in demolition mode. We have pictures down, boxes in the front room filled with books, and Davids deployment gear in the spare bedroom. It's crazy and a hazard to walk around right now...at least that's how I feel.
Sunday was a good day, we went to church and David and I both helped out in primary and the primary also had their program this week. I love the primary program...it makes me happy :-). Then we went up to Camp Gieger with the missionaries and we had one marine come to the church and so we held sacrament meeting. The missionaries didn't have anyone to feed them so they came back to our house and ate...it's a good thing we had some food in the house.
Monday was preperation day for the missionaries and it was veterans day so I didn't have any school! We took the missionaries bowling up on base for their free time. The bowling alley up on base just re-opened with brand new lanes and everything. It was so much fun. I bowled my first ever turkey (the last frame of the last game) and I broke 100 for the first time! That night David and I went out walking/jogging. I'm trying to get myself into shape to be able to run a 5k when I get to Albuquerque so I'm trying to start now. I found a program online that gets you ready in 10 weeks so it's still going to be a little bit longer after I get to Albuquerque, but I'm so excited.
Monday night I was thinking. I commented on my friends page about what an awesome job she is doing on going to the gym and losing weight and I was telling her in the comment that I can't wait to get to Albuquerque to start losing weight again. But then I got to thinking, why am I waiting for another 2 months. So I signed up for weight watchers last night online. I'm way excited and am so glad to be back on it. David also signed up to be supportive (even though he doesn't need to lose weight) and we are glad we are doing it. We are a little nervous about driving across the united states while dieting but I just told David that we can either pack a cooler in with us or we can eat a lot of subway or not eat at all. I think we are doing the cooler or the subway thingy, I'm just happy to start losing weight again.

YAY
Yay, for David and I. I was sitting on the couch this morning after taking David to work checking our bank account to make sure we got paid. I always make sure on paydays. Well I haven't been feeling well the past day or two due to lovely cramps and I had to do a double take at our bank account. We got David's re-enlistment bonus and it was a lot more in our bank account than I was expecting because I wasn't expecting our bonus yet. But, it healed my cramps for the day! YAY for me! Anyway, that's the CHI I get now, I can't wait. I might choose a different color, but I'm way, way, way excited! Anyway, only 42 days until we move....can't believe it, it's coming on so fast!
